Help, I've Fallen Off the Blogging Wagon

Okie Dokie...one big step and I'm back on. My computer had a bit of a malfunction--dead network card. It's kind of hard to blog on dial-up.

So what's on your mind? Mine is still busy editing, editing, editing. Though I've been a bit distracted with weeding flower beds and sucking water out of the basement from all the rain we've had.

I am toying with a new beginning for my novel and getting to the action a bit sooner. So I'll see where it takes me. I do have to say I love my characters. Is it wierd to say they seem real? Okay, maybe it's just me, but I talk to my protragonist while I'm writing. Usually, it's because I'm trying to justify why I'm making her do something.

How about you? Do you talk to your characters? Do they talk back?

Heck ya. All my voices talk to me. Except the one that's mad at me right now.

I feel bad letting bad things happen to my characters. I know Tally should sink the boat, but I feel kinda bad making her do it. Ya know?

I know what you mean. Sissy isn't the least bit snotty, but there are times I want her to just get in someone's face--like Phillip's.

And I hated letting Brian get killed, but I needed a story.
